What are well-lights and how are they used?

Well-lights are discreet recessed light fixtures used for outdoor lighting. You can install well-lights in the ground,concrete,or underwater depending on the type of fixture and lighting application.

Use well-lights for uplighting to highlight various features such as trees,flag poles,gazebos,pillars,posts,and milboxes. These lights are also suited for wall wash,path lighting,and lighting water features such as fountains and koi ponds in the case of waterproof well-lights.

How bright does my well-light need to be?

Depending on the application,your white LED light should be between 200-800 LM.Typically 400LM will be more than enough for landscape lighting. Use LED smart lighting to customize the brightness for a perfect fit.

Many LED smart lights offer wireless control for RGB+tunable white. These features allow for a striking lighting design that you can change to suit your needs for seasonal events.

Lumens meansure light wavelengths of the visible spectrum. White light has multiple wavelengths,while single colors (RGB) are single-wavelength.
RGB strips have a lower lumen reading but will appear as bright as a white version of the same strip.
